Augmented Reality Architecture
WILLIAMSBURG + BRADBURY | NYC + LA | 2012
Heavy + PAC created one of the first uses of feature tracking on architecture. in which we digitally resurfaced, or "skinned" real buildings in urban centers by overlaying 3D content onto the physical environment. We turned architecture into common locations for meaningful cultural exchange and, in doing so, we encouraged the audience to see public space as a more open and democratic media environment. Special shout out to Ean Mering for his collaborative efforts on the digital content creation.
