AR ENABLED SCULPTURE

On the gorgeous roof deck garden and events space at the newly opened JW Marriott Anaheim, we designed, fabricated and installed 3 AR enabled steel sculptures called Karma Seed, Vitarka Sapling, and Pipal Portal. Each sculpture represents - and triggers - an interactive, AR narrative journey that bonds you with the physical space.

At Karma Seed, you choose your own seed from a variety of shapes and colors. Once selected, a virtual butterfly guides you to the next scuplture where a lotus flower and pedals offer you your own mantra, which you then speak into your device. Lastly, you are guided to the final scuplture, where you enter the portal and see that your seed has been planted in a digital forrest, as you blow into your device, spin the mantra wheel, and see your tree emerge from the forrest - where it will stay and grow everytime your return to the hotel and AR experience.
